Annouchka Gravel Galouchko

Annouchka Gravel Galouchko was born in Montreal. She is an artist who has won several national and international awards for her children's books. The artist spent her youth in many countries, including Egypt and Iran, which have deeply influenced her.

Annouchka Gravel Galouchko's painted works have been the subject of several solo and duo exhibitions with Stéphan Daigle in Quebec and abroad, both in illustration and painting. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and taken part in various public events, including a regular presence at the Salon du Livre de Montréal.

A monograph on the artist's visual works was published in 1998 by Editions Images, Les 400 coups. The book Envol Imaginaire, by offering an overview of the artist's entire production, underlines the importance of a singular and bewitching approach.
