也许变了泥把破墙填砌;

“Imperial Caesar, dead and turned to clay,
Might stop a hole to keep the wind away.

O, that that earth, which kept the world in awe,
Should patch a wall t’expel the winter’s flaw!”

Hamlet | Act 5, Scene 1, William Shakespeare

像他这一类靠着一些繁文缛礼撑撑场面的家伙,正是愚妄的世人所醉心的;

“He did comply with his dug before he sucked it.

Thus has he — and many more of the same bevy that I know the drossy age dotes on — only got the tune of the time and outward habit of encounter, a kind of yeasty collection, which carries them through and through the most fanned and winnowed opinions. And do but blow them to their trials, the bubbles are out.”

Hamlet | Act 5, Scene 2, William Shakespeare

“Not a whit. We defy augury.

There’s a special providence in the fall of a sparrow.
If it be now, ’tis not to come. If it be not to come, it will be now.

If it be not now, yet it will come—the readiness is all. Since no man of aught he leaves knows, what is ’t to leave betimes? Let be.”

Hamlet | Act 5, Scene 2, William Shakespeare
